Such as the alley along WTC7 almost 2 blocks away

and this guy was a block away. Lots more like him and cars and firetrucks demolished a full block away. See other statements.
Devastation on West HW and other streets to the north.
What was the huge force that propeled the projectiles???

EMT RUSSELL HARRIS
WTC2
I was on the side of the church. I looked and all this debris just
started exploding everywhere, and I turned around to run. When I got maybe halfway the block, I got knocked to the ground. My helmet got cracked. A piece of debris had hit my helmet.

FIREFIGHTER MICHAEL HAZEL
That whole side of the West Side Highway was just pretty much just demolished. That's where the walkways were.
We went down there and there were numerous rigs burning, cars burning. It looked like something out of a war movie.
