47. unlike news and 9/11 report statements, a lot of the firemen radios worked
in WTC1 on 9/11; there are reports in many of the firemen statements by those in WTC1 that the radios were working; such as:

Paul Bessler FDNY
22nd floor of WTC1 after 2nd tower collapsed. Unlike reported, the radios were working in WTC1. Several of the firemen said so in their statements. Perhaps some radios werent working.


Just at that point, my radio came clear as day, "Imminent collapse. This was a terrorist attack. Evacuate." That's exactly what I heard. I think that was Chief Picciotto that was giving the order. We relayed that again, hoping that the brothers would hear it above us,
