How many researchers examining the same records does it take to convince you of something that even 'traditionalist' historians now know for certain? I guess you can head to the British Museum to take a gander at the BBC records. They as well as the Americans picked up everything that was being transmitted at the time, and there's nothing in them to support any claims of broadcasts from Arab states telling Palestinians to flee. Ask yrself if those radio broadcasts indeed do exist, why have they never come to light?

As for more local street announcements, I'm pretty sure what was left of any Palestinian leadership by that time may well have done so, but as a great many of those who fled did so out of the obvious reasons that they were caught up in a war, the motives of local leaders telling them to flee would have to be examined....
