The United States was attacked by Japan and shortly after Germany declared war on us, not vice versa. Are any of the candidates except Loserman advocating pre-emptive war? Also in your praise of centrists how are neo-liberal DLC economic principles compatible with with the same era that gave us rural electrification, social security, the TVA and government sponsored public works programs? FDR was a big friend of labor and no one save perhaps Gephardt matches what DK is saying on that front.
