It is starting to come out, but Turkey is also trying to prevent the legitimate government of Cyprus from drilling for natural gas in its own waters and trying to claim it for itself. It is doing this via classic gunboat diplomacy.

The reality is that Turkey is making a fuss over Gaza as a distraction and little more.

There is also the ongoing Turkish invasion and occupation of Cyprus to consider, not to mention their prior genocides.
