55. No question this was a well planned PR event
that hurts Israel as far as world opinion and also seems to be hurting the peace process. Time will tell how it sorts out. The "pro-palestinian" folks want to claim total victory on that a little soon I think.

I have never said anyone doesn't have the right to self defense. There is a difference between peaceful protest and armed resistance to authorities. And the place to debate who's in authority isn't when you are facing soldiers under orders out at sea I think. They were warned and it wasn't the first time they tried and were turned back. How can you predict what will happen when two sides resort to violence however they intended it to go.

Sure, Israel is also at fault in the peace process, I never said they weren't. They believe generally in dealing from strength and increasing the buffer zone between them and the other side. But no they have not made statements to the effect of "no peace ever", or that their goal is the destruction of the Palestinians that would be a blatantly false argument.
