118. Here's a suggestion that was given to me to deal with late edits...
I once encountered a DUer who'd reply almost instantaneously to my posts and then go back sometimes 50 minutes later and edit their post to say something completely different than what it had originally said. And because since the original post there were many other posts, I didn't go back and read that original post and found myself being accused of being a liar because I was supposedly accusing them of something they claimed they hadn't said (they had, but they'd edited it out of the post later on). That's why I'm always careful that if I've changed the context or any links in one of my posts, I'll make a point of saying it in a follow up post especially if it looks like the other poster hasn't seen the edit. I'm not saying that in this case here it's malicious as it was in the case I encountered, but the advice I was given back then probably helps with a few posters who do change the context of their posts during the editing period - don't reply to the post until the one hour editing period is over. That way yr not stuck in a situation like I was, and also if yr replying to a poster who is carrying on a rather pointless but rapid-fire exchange of posts, it slows them down a bit...
