Israel might have more legal ground to stand on in this case if Israel wasn't one of the top 10 weapons exporters in the world. In war torn areas of Africa and in many developing nations Israel's weapons are prized as durable high quality if somewhat expensive alternatives to the everyday common ex-soviet gear so popular in that region.

I'm not taking a moral position on that (Sweden for instance is also a major weapons manufacturer), it just sounds a little bit of the case of the pot calling the kettle black.
