so, I don't know.. is it better to feel the physical limitations of your freedom and know its horrible or to live in and enslaved invisible bubble that makes you think you are free?

I assume you mean America when you refer to living within an enslaved invisible bubble that gives us a false perception of freedom, implying that the differences in freedom are basically illusions?

Correct me if I am wrong but I take it you've never actually been to any of the places Vega mentioned, like Myanmar or Saudi Arabia. I would have difficulty believing that anyone who has been to one of those countries, or to any similar ones, could fail to see the very real differences in human rights and freedom between there and here. It's easy to use slavery as a metaphor for our own imperfect freedoms, but it only makes sense if you aren't drawing a comparison to people who genuinely face enslavement.

Make no mistake, our country is far from perfect, but our freedom is not an illusion.
