Good job getting such a close-range, humane shot.
I'm sorry I missed the first response, it sounds like quite a hoot. :)
The deer population in greater Cincinnati has gotten so out of hand that the Hamilton County Park District had to bring in professional hunters to cull the deer in the county parks. They shot from raised platforms on the back of special trucks. The county parks are just too urban to allow for public hunting.
