That about sums up my opinion of entering a discussion and pretending that it wasn't going on before one got there, not even exhibiting the courtesy or respect of reading what others have said on the matter before expressing an opinion plainly intended to reflect on anyone who doesn't agree with one's own. Never mind that someone who disagrees might have already addressed those aspersions; just go right ahead and make 'em.

Yup, I think that spiked wristbands should be outlawed and that the law should be enforced. Normally, I'd state my reasons (which of course blow your whole pissy characterization of people like me out of the water many times over), but since I've already done so several hundred times in this thread, I don't feel any further obligation in that respect.

So gosh, I'm obviously one of those "little people" who "are scared to death and feel it necessary to limit other's liberties". You got me. And you'll forgive the sarcasm I'm sure. My inclination to be sincere when dealing with people who don't share the inclination tends to decline rather rapidly.
