3. Remark about car led to shooting, family says (NE)
The "law-abiding gun owners" strike again! After all, everyone knows that any commenting about someone else's car deserves to get shot - NOT!!! - Wayne

Remark about car led to shooting, family says

Raul J. Shaw made a comment about a woman's car - its tire rims in particular - that her boyfriend apparently did not like. That is what led to Shaw's being shot and critically injured Wednesday on an Interstate 480 bridge, a cousin of Shaw's said.

Police have said Shaw apparently made comments about the woman, an employee at Mickey's Razzle Dazzle in Council Bluffs.

The 24-year-old Shaw of Omaha might have acted cocky that night, said his cousin Marti Arellano-Madrigal, also of Omaha. "But surely he didn't deserve this," she said of the shooting.

Shaw was shot in the head about 2 a.m. Wednesday as both men drove across the bridge toward Omaha.
