Coast Guard member accused of shooting at Granholm's tour bus

(Cheboygan, June 8, 2004, 7:57 a.m.) A US Coast Guard member is accused of shooting at Governor Granholm's tour bus.

It happened Sunday night during the governor's tourism promotion tour in Cheboygan.

The bus was parked outside a hotel when police say Granholm's security team saw the guard member shooting a BB gun at the bus. Granholm was not aboard at the time.
The suspect is now undergoing non-judicial discipline and has returned to his ship.
