You and I may consider a 12 or 13 year old a child, but I believe technically once you enter adolescence you are no longer count. In America, we use the term pedophile as a blanket term for anyone who has a sexual attraction to someone under the age of 17, (in most states), but in most other countries they reserve the term strictly for sexual attraction to prepubescent children.
