As you say, the article was sorely lacking in detail. Be that as it may, there's no way in hell, were I on the jury, you'd get to me to vote in favor of the plaintiff because the defendant chose to defend himself instead of fleeing.

You don't want to get shot, keep your fucking hands to yourself.
