2. I hae quite a few auto pistols - the designs of most of them are quite old.
I have a small Spanish pistol based on the 1903 John Browning design, 2 pistols based on the 1911 John Browning design (the old Army/Government model Colt .45 ACP automatic, one based on a Carl Walther design from 1929 or so (The PPK) and one based on a wierd design by Smith & Wesson in the 1980's (the Model 2214, a smaller .22 pistol no longer made.)
I also have several revolvers, all Smith & Wessons whose basic design dates to the 1880's.

I wonder if we should all be forced to use 19th century cars as well - there are far more vehicle deaths that gun deaths of any description per year... and far more accidental deaths from swimming than from guns...maybe Chicago should ban pools and bath tubs.
