Royal Oak police "don't anticipate any issues" in dealing with festival patrons carrying handguns, Chief Christopher Jahnke said.

They won't be able to take a gun into a bar, "but they can go anywhere they want within the festival area," which will be fenced off and will have people openly consuming alcohol on the streets, Jahnke said.
