Prove that people who enjoy shooting firearms recreationally, or that keep then for defense purposes, contribute to an increase of violence.
Sorry, but your thought process stinks of bullshit. Poverty and a poor education system have a hell of a lot more to do with our violent nation than do gun ownership or the death penalty. It's got nothing to do with our "gun loving" culture. Crap like that distracts from the important issues and make it more difficult to actually fix these root problems.
