Disclaimer: I don't want to take your guns away from you, unless of course I can sell them for zombie movies, video games, animated pornography, and weed.
I often see the comparison of guns and cars in gun debates.
Guns and cars are both extremely dangerous tools when misused, but lets be honest, people who wish to kill a bunch of other people use guns instead of cars because guns are significantly better killing tools. Guns are designed for killing, cars are not. I understand there may be some modified car, filled with explosives or covered with swords and saw blades, but I don't see these cars at my local dealership, and I live in Montana where one can buy shotguns and beer at the same store.
Our military gives all of our soldiers guns, not cars, for battle. A squad of soldiers driving around trying to run over the enemy seems silly, because the comparison of cars to guns is silly.
I often see the comparison of guns and penis size in gun debates.
Guns and penises are both long, round, and shoot stuff out one end when working properly. The connection between the two is funny, but false. There is no evidence gun lovers have more penis issues than non-gun lovers. If a woman purchases a gun to defend herself from rapists, it means she is concerned about rapists, as opposed to having some gun/penis issue. If a man buys a gun because he likes to hunt, then he likes to hunt, as opposed to having some gun/penis issue. If a man, woman, or intersexed person buys a gun and turns it into a prosthetic penis, then s/he probably has some gun/penis issues.
Penises and cars are both great, but they are not guns. Guns, cars, and penises are three very different things with some minor similarities.
