14. Just yesterday up near Houston
There was some incredible nitwittery .

Witnesses say it all started innocently enough with a pit bull playfully showing the neighbors affection.

"Sugar was jumping up and down. She's so happy, and all the kids ran up," said Filidei.

Officer Sabrina Sanders happened to be in the neighborhood on an unrelated call. She drove by and reported seeing Sugar attacking several people. Police say the officer drew her weapon and fired at the dog, hitting it. But a bullet fragment ricocheted off the ground and hit Filidei's daughter.

"Then my daughter falls to the ground, and I'm grabbing this kid and she's still shooting. She's still shooting, trying to shoot the dog," said Filidei.

Witnesses say about a half dozen people dodged bullets.

Maybe she used up all her tazer cartridges directing traffic .
