Vermont has the laxest gun control laws in the country. It also has one of the

lowest gun crime rates. Anyone can conceal carry in Vermont- and you don't need a permit. Guns are everywhere here, but gun crime isn't. States have different cultures and different problems. What works in Burlington VT isn't going to work in NYC. That's why gun control should be an issue that's tackled by individual states.
