* CA: A San Mateo man, Matthew Andrew O'Reilly, 29, is wanted in connection with a double homicide outside of a Sunnyvale strip club.
* RI: During his child's birthday parthy, a Cranston firefighter, James Pagano got into a heated argument with his neighbor, a retired Providence police officer, Nick Gianquitti. Officer Gianquitti allegedly grabbed a gun and shot Pagano dead.
* ME: Jennifer Lessard, 40, and the mother of two was shot by her ex-boyfriend, Albert "Sonny" Merrill Jr. with a .22 caliber Ruger handgun. He then turned the gun on himself.
* CA: A man on trial for attempted murder in connection with the shooting of his girlfriend has a history of shooting women. Lynne Webb testified that her former boyfriend and father of her child, William "Mookie" Johnson, shot her more than 16 years ago after they had an argument while high on drugs. Johnson, 45, is on trial for attempted murder for allegedly shooting his girlfriend Nicole Henderson, 38, on Jan. 2, 2007, in front of an Oakland child care center where she worked.
* IL: Three separate and unrelated shootings in the Englewood neighborhood Monday left a woman and two men wounded.
* MD: n the wake of two shootings over the weekend in one of Columbia's oldest communities - including one that left a 23-year-old man dead - Howard County police plan to meet with residents tonight to discuss the crimes.
* IL: In East St. Louis, a dozen Illinois State Police investigators were looking for leads or suspects today in the shooting of two men in Washington Park Monday night and a later shooting that wounded the driver of an ambulance taking one of the victims to a hospital.
* NC: Washington Police looking for suspects in two shootings.
* IL: A suburban teenager, Alex Rivera, 18, was found not guilty by reason of insanity Monday in the shooting and wounding of his parents last year in their Streamwood home.
* IN: A 20-year-old man was arrested Monday on charges of killing one teenager and wounding another as the two teens and a third man broke into parked cars on north side of town. The dead teen, Domonique Allen, made it only a few steps before falling into the front yard of a house and was pronounced dead of multiple gunshot wounds.
