67. No one has proposed requiring individuals to arm themselves.
All that has been proposed is allowing individuals who are currently legally allowed to carry concealed deadly weapons in public to continue to be allowed to carry those deadly weapons on college campuses if they so choose. You have apparently misinterpreted the statements of others, as you seem to believe that it is being proposed that individuals would be mandated to carry deadly weapons. This, however, is not the case. What is being proposed would give choice to the individuals, it would not mandate any individual action.

Given that two states already allow individuals who are legally allowed to carry concealed deadly weapons to do so when on college campuses and these states have not experienced a rash of violenc crime from such individuals, what is your rational objection to expanding such an allowance to other states?
