They do not move an inch without oil. Your link has just disproved your statement. "hybrid technology to more than double the fuel economy commonly available today" http://www.ucsusa.org/clean_vehicles/technologies_and_f... Hah! Hybrids are a farce, and a marketing gimmick, nothing more. That the UCS endorses them proves my point that they have no ability to see anything but what the fossil fuel industry (probably) pays them to see.
