99% tax on the ultra rich? I don't think so. That would mean someone making $9 million per year would take home $90,000.

Regarding giving everyone $1 million. That would have no benefit in making everyone rich, of course, but it would at least wipe out most everyone's debts. Debts are was put most of us into indentured servitude, requiring us to work or else be punished by having our homes (and later on families) taken away.

I do not know why 'wealth distribution' has a negative stigma attached to to it. Nobody has any problem using others for their labor, or what could be called 'labor distribution', but when we mention 'wealth distribution' the RW erupts, even the poor ones.
