If George W. got into the Texas Air National Guard based on a preference, couldn't he also get an honorable discharge which other soldiers who went AWOL for 7-17 months couldn't have gotten?

It's like saying that because Republican Bill Janklow wasn't sentenced to prison (he will serve about 90 days in jail) after he broke the speed-limit for the millionth time and killed a man, therefore Janklow couldn't have done much wrong.

There is one standard of justice for the well-connected, and another for the rest of us.
