Kucinich came in second right? Yes.

Wouldn't you think that would mean a proportional amount of media coverage? Yes.

Did that happen? No.

Dean received an overwhelmingly larger amount of coverage and is still receiving that. Polls at this stage are largely reflective of name recognition. How does one get name recognition? The media.

Call it whining if you wish, since that best serves your purpose of dismissing valid arguments, but here is a nice graph to view.
