7. Why are we letting Bush get away with saying Iraq makes us SAFER?
Lie 1) Saddam and al-Queda are connected

Lie 2) Going after Saddam makes us safe from al-Queda

This seems as big as any 16 word uranium thing to me. I don't understand why nobody seems to pick up on it. We ARE NOT SAFER. WE ARE MORE VULNERABLE NOW.

Maybe people (including media) are just scared to think through the implications here.
