ANNOUNCEMENT TOUR COMING TO 11 STATES

On October 13 to 15, Congressman Dennis John Kucinich will formally announce his campaign for the presidency at events in 11 states: Ohio, Michigan, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Illinois, Missouri, and Iowa.

CAMPAIGN ANNOUNCEMENT HOUSE PARTIES
You can celebrate Dennis’s announcement with a house party fundraiser. Building on the success of the house party fundraisers held on the September 21st International Day of Peace, supporters will celebrate the Presidential Campaign Announcement Tour with a new round of parties. Sign up by Wednesday to receive a house party kit in the mail, or check what parties are scheduled in your town: http://www.kucinich.us/houseparty.htm

CAN ANYONE WATCH THIS SPEECH AND NOT JOIN US?
Last Friday, October 3, the Democratic candidates spoke at the Fall meeting of the Democratic National Committee. You can watch them all at
http://video.c-span.org:8080/ramgen/idrive/project/c04/c04100303_npc.rm

If you advance the recording to 2hr., 17 min., you can go straight to Dennis’s speech. Here’s a challenge: ask three of your friends who are undecided to watch that 12-minute speech, and then talk to them afterward – not by Email, really talk to them. If you each do that, this campaign will be unstoppable.

HELP DENNIS RESIST MEDIA MONOPOLIZATION
In Congress, Dennis has helped lead the battle to stop the FCC from relaxing media ownership rules and letting the largest media corporations double or even triple their size. The Senate voted 55-40 to overturn the FCC, and we need to pressure Speaker Hastert to let the House vote on the matter. Help Dennis win this fight by signing the petition demanding a reversal of the FCC ownership rules relaxation: http://www.mediareform.net/petition.php

SEND DENNIS A BIRTHDAY MESSAGE
On October 8, Dennis John Kucinich will be 57 years young, and we’d like him to have a personal birthday greeting from as many supporters as possible. Send one to him on this page: http://tinyurl.com/pvmq Also, join those sending a $57 birthday present to the campaign: http://www.kucinich.us/contribute.php or phone toll-free (866) 413-3664.

USE YOUR BODIES AND YOUR CARS
One of the most effective ways to promote this campaign is also the easiest. Wear a Kucinich T-shirt and put a bumper sticker on your car – or your bicycle! Get them at:
