Education and Wesley Clark: A Teacher's View

To Thine Own Self Be True

<snip>
Wesley Clark is fully aware of the educational needs of our country. He realizes that an educated workforce is the backbone of a strong America. He has spoken out recently in support of teachers, saying that they should receive more training and be compensated for the immense value that they contribute to society. Clark also served on a military committee that made recommendations in favor of the recent Affirmative Action decision, extending the opportunity for a college education to minorities. When asked what he thinks about the Presidents Leave No Child Behind Act of 2001, he said simply: Fund it. Clark clearly understands what is holding our students back.

Wesley Clark believes in the potential of all Americans. He champions each one of us to be all that we can be, and Wesley Clark is just getting started. He will strive, as he always has, to reach toward higher goals.

I've caught his vision of a vibrant America and will be passing it on to my students.
