What is wrong with putting money on your credit cards? It could actually be smart (if you have an incentive plan) or at least convenient if you pay them off in full every month...

And this is bad because...? How often does he do this? Daily? Once a year on vacation? At his level of wealth spending a few thousand on craps is probably the same thing as me spending $10 on scratch off tickets, which I do once or twice a year (and is just as foolish, true). At least he's not moralistic finger-wagger like Book of Virtues author/high stakes gambler William J. Bennett...

I like the rest, though, and agree that the sort order of "juicy" to brass tacks is better...
