In the mean time I'm going to make some waves.

Back when I was suicidal the one thing that kept me going was the thought that, "I'm going to die at some point anyway. Why not stick around to see what will happen if I live until natural death?"

Hunter S. Thompson thought that he could end his life at any time. If this gets too heavy it is within my power to end it all. So, he lived his life accordingly. And he made a lot of waves. He also chose death on his own terms.

The concept of karma is the same as any popular religion. Be good and you won't suffer after you die. It's just another tool used to keep us in line.
