I will acknowledge that my post was shameless star seeking, and I greatly appreciate your indulgence on this. Ive been wanting to visit the gardening forum, but was blocked out of posting right about the time it became relevant to me.

As to the job search.. I don't even know were to start. My experience is in such a different area than my educational qualifications that its hard to know what direction to take. I've been applying, but its hard to convey "adequate at most any task, master of problem solving and information gathering, master of very few things". I wonder how prospective employers would react to seeing "Junior grade Renaissance Man" somewhere near the top of my resume?
