35. Great story with a happy ending. Just yesterday I took my 3 dogs with me to the feed store,
then to the vets office to pick up some meds, to a friends house who had handcrafted a quilt I bought to give to another friend, and then we went to pick up my daughter at school.

They stay in the car with me and love the journey. Of course I leave them in the car while I'm running errands. It's only for a short time, its 45 degrees right now in IL so they are in no danger, and it's good for them to get off the property and do these kinds of things every now and then. The two younger ones though are so frisky I can't see anyone stealing either of them, nor the big Shepherd/Boxer mix but I do lock the doors anyway while I'm gone.

I hope that owner had his dog microchipped.
