3. I've always been amazed by rocks
If they could tell stories. My wife and I sold every scrap of gold we had except for her mother's wedding ring which she kept. To me gold is no more different than any other metal. With the cost to the environment and human life I just decided to opt out and not be a part of the global problems it causes. I see the need for it in critical electronics and such but not to decorate myself with anymore. Paid some bills with all the money and then sent the remainder to different charities that were helping in Haiti and we now have stainless steel wedding bands
