Fair weather until Sunday, according to the NWS (socialize weather reporting!)
The timing belt on this car was never changed, so it's possible it decided to snap this week. That might stop the engine...

Do the lights come on full strenght? If not pull the battery, and have it check for charge. |

The starter is definitely an obvious place to start. I doubt it damaged anything else. |

check all the spark plugs first and if they are all good .....it's the timing belt/chain |
