1. Some may believe that they have pinpointed your true political leanings based on a few of your posts. On DU this does not even mean that you are a closet Republican. There is a war going on here because some people perceive other people as not being liberal "enough." But loyal Democrats here perceive third party voters as people who throw their votes away, as are people who don't bother to vote at all. So, you see there is a kind of civil war going on amongst ourselves. Add that to the round of regular Republican trolls we get and there is mahem at the moment.

2. A few may feel you have been rude while you may feel you have been plain spoken.

3. Some people will argue with anybody just for fun.
