103. I can make a few alternate suggestions
Yosemite is an incredible park, there's no question about it, but it's a long way from the Grand Canyon and trying to see both in one trip would be a chore. Instead you might consider going to the Grand Canyon, then spending some time at Lake Powell. Even if you are not that big on vacationing at lakes, Lake Powell is incredible. Think of it as the Grand Canyon filled with water (which is exactly what it is). There's lots of great hiking around the lake, also.


Mesa Verde is pretty neat also and there's loads to do in the 4 corners area. It's best to go there in early October when the weather is nice and the trees are turning colors. I highly recommend taking the Silverton to Durango train during that time of year.
