It can be done, but a lawyer is who to ask about it.
I know someone who had job interviews while in a min security fed prison and was hired before he was released. The situation is not great, but it's not the end of the world. (Not trying to be flippant; just hopeful.) Get all the help you can, and this could much less worse than it seems now.
