| Any DU doctors or someone who would know how to interpret a brain spect |
|
I found this from 1994 and I think it was from a PET scan (?) The results scare me but the doctor at the time told me he was trying to figure out if I had epilepsy. He said he could not tell because of the medications I was on but another doctor told me that he would consider me having epilepsy. Here is what it says:
Description
Brain SPECT was performed following injection of 20.6mCi of Tc99m-labeled HMPAO
There is a globally diminished cortical uptake. There is heterogeneous cortical uptake with especially decreased uptake in the frontal regions. There is decreased white matter uptake. No CT or MRI is available for correlation.
Impression:
Diffusely decreased cortical uptake which is heterogeneous and with associated decreased white matter uptake. The decreased cortical uptake may be due to depression but the heterogeneous nature of the decreased uptake suggest another process, such as certain encephalopathies or vasculitis.
WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH ME?????
