Reply #98: Ion and Pritika (Priti)

Ion is 11, Priti is just over a year old. (Pritika is an Indian name meaning Beloved One) Ion is super sweet, docile and incredibly loyal (to me at least). Priti still has a bit of the kitten about her, but she's a total doll, affectionate and friendly. She is in *LOVE* with Ion, she worships him like a god, imitates his every move and bows to his holiness daily. Surprisingly, they get along amazingly well together. I say surprisingly, because Ion was *my* baby for so long, he had me all to himself and was very possessive of my time and attention. But, they love each other, and both follow me everywhere, or even just with their eyes while cuddling each other. Priti loves to sleep under the covers with me, mostly totally under, but sometimes during the night she'll creep up so her head is out and on the pillow next to mine.

The pictures of the two of them together are so cute it'll make you squirm.

Priti was a foster, and as a tiny kitten she would climb a 6 foot high barrier just to get in the other rooms away from her family to be with Ion and I. She became so attached so fast, I couldn't let her go. She actually looked at me as more of her mother than her birth mother who was in my care at the same time.
