really touch my heart, Kali, because they remind me of a spring that I spent on a ranch in Nebraska, with a patient and kind rancher/farmer friend who didn't mind that I gave every calf his/her own name aside from the ear-tag designation. "Nobody names a calf 'Cinnamon.' Go carry him up out of the ditch, and stop calling him Cinnamon. The guys at the sale barn'll all run me outta town if we call him 'Cinnamon.'" :rofl:
