It can be whatever 2 rooms you spend a lot of time in, or add another litter box.

Peeing can also be the sign of some health problem - it could be he needs to go and a litter box is not nearby (for some reasons, see http://www.marvistavet.com/html/body_feline_house_soiling.html)

I'd put plastic under your sheets just in case, until you're fairly certain the habit won't continue.

And I'm sorry about your Purrcilla. It's hard to lose a pet.

It's hard for me to not take another cat. I have 2 strays and I can't save them all. But if lots of people each take in 1-2, it will make a huge difference. These 2 just wandered into my life after my first cat died.
