You're absolutely right in your assessment about boundaries. You know what you need when you get home and you're taking the steps to create that down-time for yourself. Good for you.

On the other hand, I don't think you need to be particularly judgmental about your neighbors and the fact they're more social than you are, unless it directly affects the quality of your life.

If the noise gets outa hand, then deal with it directly with them. Consider them good practice for you to work on establishing healthy boundaries for yourself.

Meanwhile, I'd say "live and let live" . :toast:

For the record, I'm definitely a social animal, more of an extrovert than introvert. I get invigorated being with others, rather than drained.

I think boundary issues are things we can ALL relate to. It's just part of being human.
