I'm 44 and I have no straight female friends in the State I live in. I have several single middle aged female friends in other parts of the country, and one married on with kids-but my relationship with her is strained. She only talks about her boys (who are completely out of control future inmates), and clothing-especially shoes. It baffles me because we were both tomboys growing up together and she's always been quite liberal. I just don't know why she has changed so much in the past ten years.  |
