like Madonna don't get in. Now the Beach Boys and Beatles did a lot of pop music too, but 'I Get Around' and many others are indeed rnr songs. Beatles started out wearing leather jax and doing Gene Vincent songs and wandered back into rnr many times throughout their career. But I don't recall a single Madonna song that could reasonably be called rock-n-roll music.
