50. I know there's a degree of risk involved, but my cat has always been part-outdoor.
I call him a "hybrid" cat, since he's outdoors most of the day but stays in at night. I agree that it seems kind of cruel to keep your cat inside all the time, but as I said, there's always the risk of the thing getting run over or eaten, so... :shrug:
