You know the story... Bostonians were upset over the tax on tea, so they boarded a ship and dumped the tea overboard.

well, that version is wrong.

the colonists were upset about a tax on playing golf. rather than throw their own golf clubs into water hazards, they boarded a ship carrying golf TEES, and threw them over board.

yes, I'm joking, but don't tell the freeps that
