34. Lynyrd Skynyrd is the most under-rated band of all-time
People can't get over the whole Free Bird / Confederate Flag thing.

Despite those blemishes they wrote a lot of great songs and were phenomenal performers.

I wish I could have seen them live at their peak.

2 other under-rated bands

The Ramones: Loved by critics but never respected for their musicianship

Superchunk, not really underrated, just criminally under-appreciated.
