I don't care much about looks, but attitudes, personality issues, and political/religious beliefs are Big Ones for me.

I will not date someone who:

Doesn't love children, and doesn't want them either. I want at least one more baby someday.
Would never give money to a beggar.
Is overly-judgemental of the people around him/her.
Thinks that their religion is the Truth, and others are Not.
Thinks that homeless people "want" to be homeless.
Thinks that welfare reform was a great idea to make those lazy welfare queens get a job.
Voted for Bush and doesn't regret it, and/or voted for McCain.
Dislikes or disapproves of animals as pets.
Thinks that most of the poor are only poor because they are stupid/lazy/ignorant/apathetic/unmotivated.
Thinks that people from West Virginia are mostly stupid/ignorant/racist/inbred sheep-fuckers with three teeth.
Can't handle my intelligence and abilities with good grace.
Is a bully, can't control his/her temper, or is extremely passive-aggressive.
Doesn't like sweets (honestly, we would NEVER get along.)
Is a "moral" conservative who opposes choice, equality, and/or other important progressive ideals.
Doesn't really care about sex, or about being a good lover.
Is extremely jealous/possessive, to the point of being paranoid.
Is 100% monogamous, no exceptions. (I am not 100% monogamous by nature. It's only fair to make that clear in advance.)
Doesn't like poetry, literature, or classical music at all, and isn't interesting in learning to like them either.
Is sexist, expecting me to do the "women's work." You'd be surprised how many butchy lesbians can be like this, too.
Wants all kinds of expensive crap, because I am thifty and I'd rather give more money to the food bank than buy the latest gadget.
Is uncomfortable around deeply poor people. My extended family is deeply poor.
Thinks that corporal punishment is acceptable as an everyday discipline act for children. Just NO.
Can't sleep in the same bed as someone else. I can't sleep well *alone*, so this wouldn't work out well.
Can't sleep unless the room is silent. If I don't have a fan blowing, I can't sleep. Every little creak keeps me awake.
Thinks that video and board games are just for kids.
Fits into a category above, but is not willing to change/compromise.
